Using the Search Features on ChadMcMillan.ca
To start, if you go to this page: https://www.chadmcmillan.ca/homes-for-sale-search/ you can access our Vancouver Island real estate search page. One of the best ways to narrow the search is to use the search filters found on this page. A useful tip is if you click on the ‘View All’ button, you can filter your results to a specific area on the island. Just click the View All button and click on the various regions that you want to include in your search. See image below.
Using the various location filters on this page, you can also set a minimum and maximum price range, or search by size of home. Map Search
Another great way to search for new homes on Vancouver Island is to use the search by map feature on our website. If you click any of the little icons on the map, the map will zoom in and you will see individual home icons that you can then click to see the homes in a specific area. You can also search by postal code or by city on this map. When you click the little blue home icons, they will bring up the information for that individual listing.
Draw in Your Preferred Area
Another fun way to search is to draw yourself a shape around the areas that you want to search. To do this, click on the ‘Draw on Map’ tab as you see in the image below. Using this tool, you can draw a boundary around the areas on Vancouver Island where you most want to search for new homes.
